During the summer of 2010, I registered to take a Beginning Pottery class at the ASUC Art Studio. Since then I just can't seem to get enough of pottery! I threw a total of 29 pots during the duration of the six week course. I think it’s safe to say that I got a little carried away, but I was pleased with what I was able to accomplish. Currently I am interning with the ASUC Art Studio and assisting in the functioning of the ceramics studio.
I experimented with a few different techniques but there are many others I can’t wait to try. Below are photos of just some of my finished pieces. I can't resist taking pictures at each step and with each addition of a detail or feature. Unfortunately, I don’t have quite the time to document all of the unique stories for each piece, but I have managed to write just one.
