This is a Squid Kids Ink SQUIB Custom. I bought this DIY resin figure at the Designer Con 2010 and it took me long time to conceptualize its look. We'll after months of planning,... nothing came to my mind, haha so basically the design just happened as I was painting it the whole time. I just wanted to make it simple, bold colors and bold lines, eventually it had a majestic theme kinda like it was the prince of the sea kinda thing,.. why? i dunno, recently I just started working at a Fabric Company and thought that leather would be great for customizing stuff, thus the crown was added. It was also my first time to paint on a resin figure and it was nice. I'm looking forward to buy some more of these resin figures and customize more.
