The Beginner's Guide to Printing
Project Brief/Background:
The brief for this project was to visit various local printing presses across Bangalore and study the different types and the history of the production processes for print. The idea was to get a hands-on experience to the techniques used for printing on various surfaces and gather the information collected in the form of images, notes, etc.
Project Goals:
The final goal for this project was to collate all the documented information in the form of a publication that talks about the history of printing and its techniques. I chose to design a comprehensive guide for design practitioners, students, designers and print enthusiasts on
the topic of Print, its various techniques and history over the years.
