An accomplished public works professional, Patrick Ryan previously served as assistant director for public works at Village of Homewood in Illinois. Patrick Ryan’s responsibilities included the supervision of 27 crew personnel tasked who maintains all of the Village of Homewood infrastructures. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking and has hiked and camped across the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State.

Situated near the Pacific Ocean, the Strait of Juan de Fuca, and the Hood Canal, the Olympic Peninsula spans 3,600 square miles of rainforests, mountains, ocean, and unique seaside communities. Covering a total distance of 9.2 miles, you can observe marine mammals and bald eagles as you hike through the coastal wilderness, wetlands, and forest. There is a 3.1-mile hike to the Pacific Ocean.
