这是一款将传统秒针改为小方块的时钟设计。
This is a wall clock design that changes the traditional second hand into a small square.
细节不容忽视，我们身边有很多经常容易被忽略的小部件，它们的存在对我们来说可有可无。但是我们应该去发现这些不起眼的细节，去发现属于它们的价值到底是什么。
Nothing can be overlooked. We often have a lot of overlooked widgets around us but we should not ignore these details because these humble widgets have their own value.
当我们看时间的时候，我们第一反应是看时针与分针，而很少去关注秒针，这不经让我们思考，秒针的作用是什么？当我们去看一个没有秒针的时钟时，我们会有一刻的迟疑，因为时针和分针变化特别小，时钟的时针和分针仿佛静止一般，我们还是会去确认时钟到底是否还在运转，那么如果有秒针的话，我们便能一眼知道时钟是正常运转的。
Whenever we check the time at the clock, we often look at the hour hand and the minute hand. We do not pay much attention to the second hand of the clock, which makes us rethink the role of the second hand. The change of hour hand and minute hand is very slow and small, but the change of second hand is very intuitive. When we look at the clock without a second hand, we usually have a moment of hesitation and check whether the clock still runs.
因此秒针在这里的作用便是告诉我们时钟是在正常运转的，所以我把传统的秒针设置为一个正方形的小方块，削弱秒针的指示性功能，当我们抬头看这款时钟的时候，便能看到小方块在表盘的中心一格一格地自转，我们看时间的时候就不会有迟疑了。
Therefore, the function of the second hand here is simply to verify the clock is running. So, I set the traditional second hand as a small square to weaken the indicative function of it. When you look at the clock, we will notice that the square at the center of the dial is rotating in a tick-tick motion that moves once per second.
