DGDESIGN have supported interior design development for LiuGong Dressta’s radical new dozer platform: TD-16N.

The machine package and exterior bodywork design have been optimised to dramatically improve all-round machine visibility and therefore deliver significantly enhanced ease of use and site safety from an Operator perspective.

DGDESIGN has worked closely with LiuGong’s Inhouse Design and Engineering experts to develop the interior concept from first principles through to final design release.

Utilising DGDESIGN’s Industrial Design CAD modelling expertise, digital mock-up and VR assessment tools, the interior has been developed to offer a straightforward and robust cab environment – centred around “Command Chair” design principles.

All interior trim has been designed and validated through digital and physical user trials to ensure unrestricted visibility of the machine exterior and surrounding environment is maintained.

Practical storage features have been developed to compliment the logical, uncluttered machine interface.

Operator feedback confirms this new design breaks the mould, and offers unrivalled end-user benefits in this product sector.

DGDESIGN has additionally supported development of high quality CAD interior and exterior press-pack renders to summarise design intent ahead of the formal Global launch at Conexpo Las Vegas - March 2020.
