Heroes of Advertising

The American Advertising Federation (AAF) DC chapter needed event branding for their annual awards show.
Goals were:
• Inspire advertising professionals in the DC area to submit work to the AAF awards
• Increase engagement with and interest in becoming part of the AAF

Advertising is an intense industry. Long hours, exhausting demands, and endless emails are not uncommon. Let's recognize our fellow professionals for who they truly are: heroes of advertising. Colorful camouflage accompanied ‘war stories’ shared by AAF members. Printed materials, social media posts, a webpage, event decorations, and a hilarious re-enactment were all put together for the awards show. My role was to help in the creation of print and web assets, and to design all of the social media posts.

(WAR STORIES) IT WAS TIME FOR THE BEHIND-THE-SCENES BRAND STORYTELLERS TO SHARE THEIR EXPERIENCES OF WORKING IN THE FIELD.

Social Media
Regularly scheduled posts on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram increased visibility and engagement.
