The rose's represent the victims and tragedies of police brutality in the U.S., where the roads are a symbols of perseverance through the injustices.

"Down the Rose" is artwork that promotes peace and goes hand in hand with "The Moons Light" featured on my profile. My goal for "Down the Rose" is to do my part within the process of making a change in society. And also to become apart of an art trend that seeks to spark reform towards civil acts of injustice.

In this piece the rose represents positivity. “Sprouting media” is a piece that comments on the normalized dangerous habits of news media outlets, which is their practice of reporting negative and violent stories to society for the wrong reasons.

The zine assignment was concentrated towards protesting against police brutality and social injustices in the U.S. through art. I aimed to make this piece speak on brutality and injustice, but to also make it pleasing. This piece contains symbolism with the use of roses and roads that are going forward in the distance.
