The problematic of autonomy for elderly people becomes more and more omnipresent. « Olé » offers a simple and efficient solution in order to galvanize an important daily moment, mealtime.

 

« Olé » is an innovative plate allowing to eat by yourself with one hand reducing useless effort and movements. The ceramic integrated edge allows to grab food very easily. The principle is simple. Take the spoon, push the food against the edge as a child do with his fingers, and done!

 

The flat edge of the spoon, perfectly adjusted to the plate, allows to grab and push the meal through the edge avoiding every difficult movements that someone could have during the meal.

 

The minimal shape of the plate favors a simple and a quick prehension. Also, the space for the spoon matches perfectly with the hand position making easier to take the set.

 

Even though this plate is principally made for elderly people, it absolutely suits for every kind of users and can respond to a « Design for all » problematic.
