Below you will find different type of tests. Initially, the idea was to have a black hole. After further analysis and keeping the "transport" concept in mind, it was no longer relevant.
I could stay for days doing kaleidoscopic animations XD
I tried to express the vacuum of the black hole in this take. If you wish to learn how to create a vortex, follow Chris Schmidt's Swirling Vortex Tutorial from Greyscalegorilla.
At some point I was trying to add a POV shot, I thought it would give more dynamism. The problem was I had 13" for the whole animation and I needed to ✂️. I hope I can come back to this technique in a future project.
I also tested adding 2d effects to the animation. The Agency preferred to keep it simple. I liked both ways so in these cases I appreciate when clients have a clear idea of what they're looking for.
While fooling around with the marshmallowy cylinders, I came up with this scenario. I like how it looks heavenly while only using geometrical shapes. This shot couldn't make it because we had to end with the logo outro 👄.
