Project for my high school graduate qualification work.
The problem: these artists's had no analog portfolios, besides that they had just recently made an exhibition.
The solution: connecting the user with the work by designing a book and implying thermochromic ink so that the user has an interraction with the book and the postcards.
68 page book with a paper protective cover; 10 postcard collection with packaging; artists webpage design mockup.

Acskats (eye+to look) - a deformed word form latvian Atskats - to look back and reflect.

The poetry talks about deep nostalgia and melancholy of a young adult, how he experiences growing up, falling in love and gets lost in the time.

Postcards and the book cover are coated with a thermochromic color layer that reveals the underneath image when heated by touch. When the coat is not touched it turns completely black.

Graduation qualification project final. The top side: artists' website mockup. Underneath on the left side: the books' protective paper cover, next to it the books' cover. Left side: postcard collection packaging and postcards.
