During his stay, the photographer focused especially on how young men are pictured in society.
The pictures were taken in Chisinau, Moldova in 2017.
I set the pictures as simple as possible, making the pictures enhance each other by strongly outline there composition. Sometimes leading to humorous pairings. The environment in Chisinau is dominated by soviet architecture and a lot of concrete and gold elements to underline status.
That's why I went with raw book cardboard contrasted with gold ornamental carton to refer to the place the photos where taken.
The photobook has been exhibited at Museum »Marta Herford«,
accompanying the same titled exhibtion. Also it has been shown at the photobook section of »Triennale der Fotografie Hamburg«.
