Nestled in the heart of the New Forest town of Lyndhurst, this period house hadn’t seen any improvements since the 1970’s and as such was in need of a few alterations for modern day living. William Bowley were contracted to open up the living space to the rear by removal of the load bearing dividing wall, the chimney breast and stack and demolition of the timber lean-to outbuilding. This then allowed installation of two new steel beams and new openings cut in for a kitchen window and French doors. With a new kitchen and bathroom, and fresh decoration, the house has been reborn and is ready for its next chapter.
