Benoît Boucart grew up in Belgium, Tournai. He is pursuing studies in New Media and Communication Technology at Howest, University College West Flanders, Kortrijk. Boucart first began his studies because he wanted to have broad IT knowledge, as a solid foundation for creative expression and communication. Boucart is passionate about web technology, web design and the endless possibilities that are becoming available to designers. In his first year of studies, Boucart was nominated for the Best of 1NMCT award, for his portfolio website at Multi-Mania. This nomination was an honor for Boucart, propelling him to work harder, do better, and continue to push his creative process.

Description
The event registration tool Eventizer is the result of a third year Howest project made for RIA. It is a tool made in Adobe Flex that can manage events. Users can subscribe and create their own events. The user can also easily find events and buy tickets for these events (PDF tickets) + track his or her planning. The event manager has many monitoring capabilities to track the attendees, including statistical data, promotional codes, social network information, a custom widget, and maps.

Adobe MC CS5.5: BACK-END: * Adobe Flash Builder 4.5: create the back-end of my event application (Adobe Flex 4.6). Adobe Dreamweaver was used with PHP code for database access FRONT-END * Adobe Flash Catalyst was used to create a custom look (all Flex components are custom designed). Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator were used for design and layout. The promotional video used Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
