Women’s Republic is a non-profit organization and an online magazine which aims to celebrate women while also recognizing and discussing various issues faced by women around the world.

According to the founder the idea behind Women's Republic is to give a platform to women of all backgrounds to empower one another and discuss societal issues.

Unlike many other magazines, contributors are given the freedom to write about any topic they would like that is related to women and issues that are seen in society. Women's Republic works towards being more inclusive of everyone, including transgender women and those who are non-binary.

My task was to build a sustainable brand strategy and a cohesive visual identity, which included redesigning the existing logo and making collaterals.

During the sketching process I went through creating different symbols that represent the femininity of the brand which was in the old logo as a silhouette of a woman and her hair which I tried to recreate but removed because it wasn't suited for the image the brand wanted to represent, and ultimately went on to make a wordmark logo, making it cleaner and more welcoming.

I tweaked the letters of the wordmark giving it the necessary optical adjustments and combined the letters U and B to give it a unique look while making everything feel well adjusted and not crowded so that it is legible even in the smallest of scales.
