About The Event
TEDxOudMetha explored the theme of 'Exponential Impact', as we discussed how to move the needle from conceptual inclusion to active collaboration across communities, organizations, and nations. An era of exponential change is upon us. Gathering change-makers from all walks of life, TEDxOudMetha wanted to explore change through the lens of cross industry collaborators and visionaries. Uncovering new ways to embrace ethical and equitable approaches to everything we do as we seek to be
socially conscious global citizens, together.
The logo was derived from the original TEDx logo. The "X" symbol became a representation of connecting people from different regions, nationalities and cultures coming together as one, to share knowledge. The puzzle piece element symbolizes both connectivity and networking the two key elements of "Exponential Impact"
This conference’s exponential impact symbol was created to complement the official TED logo whilst showcasing in visual form the element of collaboration, inclusion and synergy. The base colors utilized were red to symbolize action, confidence and courage and black to symbolize power, authority and sophistication.
TEDxOudMetha’s social media strategy was was developed to not only match the overall branding and marketing strategy, but also to elevate it. There were three primary purposes of social media that supported pre event, during event and post event activities to ensure maximum impact. The first was to generate interest and engagement from all attendees, speakers, organizers, volunteers and artists and serve as a platform for every one of these entities to connect. The second was to document each step of the event and the different elements involved in it and lastly it was to provide interested people and organizations a way to communicate swiftly and directly with the TEDxOudMetha team to offer feedback, raise questions or try to leverage collaboration opportunities.
