Opportunity: To create a new series for the Criterion Collection by selecting a set of Post-Modernist Designers. This series could be about anything as long as it connected to the Designers chosen.

Solution: I chose the Designers James Victore, Peter Saville, Art Chantry, and James Victore connecting them to different systems of the body alongside of the idea of our own truths and what makes art.
Process
Here are my initial sketches after brainstorming what my idea would be. Each DVD cover would feature an x-ray like version of each system that the designer is connected to. For example, the lungs were shown for the respiratory system, then a picture of where the lungs would be is featured on the back.
To be able to represent the Post-Modernist design work of my artists I decided to watercolor the parts of the body for the front cover, scan it in, and then draw over it with the artists point of view on how to take on design. Then that went along side their system of the body connection.
On the inside you see an illustration that goes with the matching body part on a card that asks your thoughts on how the movie made you feel.
