For the several past years the migration crisis has been a hot topic,
but Eastern Europe has scarcely been mentioned in this context.
Motivated by bad politics, low wages and high corruption, every day,
hundreds of people decide to leave their homeland in hope of having a
better tomorrow somewhere in Western Europe.
And while they know the answer to why they are leaving,
many questions still remain.
Is this it?
Will anyone come back?
Does the sun really shine brighter in the West?
Why are our streets empty?
Was the one-way ticket a good idea?
Why are there so many empty tables in our classrooms?
And ... who is going to stay?
The millions of brave people who had to leave their homes and loved ones behind, in hope of a better future.
