BRANDING FOR THE SPACE OFFICE HACKATHON
I designed the branding for the hackathon "Space Office", which takes place in the Microsoft Innovation Center Belgique. The story of the hackathon is the following:
WELCOME ON MARS!
Place: planet Mars, within the station Microsoft Innovation Center Belgium
Your mission: creating the very first office on this virgin planet
You have been selected to participate in the next takeoff. You have been chosen for your development skills and creativity. Your mission, if you accept it, will be to create the very first office on the planet Mars. To complete this task, you and your team will have exactly 3 days. You will have to ignore everything that exists on Earth to innovate and develop new solutions related to the workspace. In order to achieve a concrete result, cutting-edge equipment will be made available for you: Hololens, Surface, Raspberry Pi, Arduino...Admission conditions: being a student (showing your student card at the entrance), enjoying the food in the space, creating a multidisciplinary team of 4 or 5 people is preferable (dev, graphic designer...).
Living conditions: possibility of sleeping in the resort.
All practical information will be sent to you when you have accepted the mission.
This proposal will self-destruct on March 27 of this light year.
Do you accept the mission?
The The logotype is designed to put the personalized typography and the characteristic rocket together.
The two typographies used for the whole communication of the brand are those ones used for the logo, in order to create an homogeneous and powerful corporate image.
Simple and technology like, they look perfect together
I designed 10 other icons apart from the rocket to include in any communication. The icons are related to the two topics of the hackathon: the space and coding.
All the social media posts and covers, all the motion graphics and images will follow this 80's videogames aesthetics and will include the corporate colors, typographies and icons.
The merchandising for the hackathon will include stickers, t-shirts, tote bags and plastic glasses.
