Disruptour - Branding & Marketing Material
The Disruptour is a educational tour, Powered by Wahl Professional, USA. 

Wahl Professional and Byrd Mena of Sharpfade have come together to bring a new generation of education dedicated to artistic diversity. Promoting self expression in mens hairdressing, clipper cutting, hair coloring and finish looks. A team of artist that empower people to think beyond the chair into the social media and photo editorial spaces disrupting the status quo and preparing them for the future. Welcome to the Disruptour!

Myself, and Byrd Mena worked closely together to establish the goals, and direction of the visual identity to the tour. We made it very obvious we wanted to shake the game up with a very unorthodox and eye catching style compared to the clean, professional industry standard set by Wahl Professional, USA and other leading competitors in the barbering industry.

We started with developing a logo for the tour that will be used on all of the material and started brainstorming and playing with different font combinations and custom hand drawn fonts. I created over 20 original logo directions for the tour and we both agreed on a direction I crafted up using the "Black Nemesis" font. Once we came to agreement on the font direction I started to develop off the font base and brought the design into Cinema 4D and Photoshop to create a scratched medal, 3D, glitched and animated looking effect to separate the tour from anything else the industry has ever seen before.

After I created the logo design and finalized the effects and presentation of the logo, 
we proceeded on to writing out a list of everything we need to create, the list consist of over 150+ different designs and branding / marketing material for the tour.
