A university project where we were given a brief to produce an A2 poster about Portsmouth using intensive research design thinking. This meant that I had to get out of my comfort zone and explore Portsmouth first hand. On my adventure, I came across the Historic Dockyards where I found many ships, new and old, and the one that caught my attention was the Mary Rose. Although wrecked, the ship contained many historical value.
As for my outcome, I made an illustration of the Mary Rose ship and included figures on the 'sea'. When I printed it out, I cut out the ship so when it folds, it depicts the tragedy of the ship sinking.
