Illustration representing Lydia Becker for the book "First in the Fight". Women in Print is the creative partner to First in the Fight, a new book featuring the inspiring stories of 20 radical Manchester women written by Helen Antrobus (@helenlouiseantro) and Andrew Simcock.
The book features individual illustrations by artists commissioned by Women in Print and published in Autumn 2019 by iNostaglia. In addition the collective Maisy co-founded, Small Fry Collective, did a workshop at the celebration & Q&A of the book on International Women's Day at the Pankhurst Centre, Manchester 2020.
