This sheet of stamps is designed to commemorate the natural beauty and power of waves around the world. Each stamp is a hand drawn wave using the visual language of topographic maps to show intensity. The intensity progresses in each row to demonstrate the types of wave from ripples to giant swells. The color becomes deeper in each column to demonstrate the depth of the wave. The information at the bottom displays where the homes of famous waves can be found.
