Barong is a Balinese mythical creature. A mortal enemy of Rangda, the king of the spirits, leader of the hosts of good. Barong is often presented as lion-like creature with long mane and unfurling hair all over his body.

Barong often performed in traditional Barong Dance in Bali until now, the dance portrays the fight between good and evil.
