As a part of Pacific Lock Company’s (PACLOCK) launch into Home Depot stores, our marketing team created a skateboard that was promoted (and skated on) by YouTube famous- Braille Skateboarding back in Fall 2019. Lock Picking Lawyer, a well-known lock sport picker on YouTube, came to us months before and asked if we could build him a board to bring to the Braille Skateboarding guys.

Of course, we took the project to a whole other level. The board had a total of 10 built-in locks, which were removable with the keys. I personally illustrated and designed the graphics on the skateboard deck. The rest of the board parts (trucks, wheels, locks) were CNC machined and built by PACLOCK specifically for this project. I also helped create the designs which were engraved onto the trucks and each padlock puck (the wheels).

The board was a cool mash-up between the lock sport and the skateboarding community, which was a fun, innovative task for the company.
