01 Inspiration | 灵感

In 2020, Xiaohongshu designed a New Year gift box with the theme of "366 · One More Day” to record the remarkable 366 days and nights for you. Due to the extra day in the leap year, everyone will have an extra day in the world that can have much more fun, work harder, or “tag one more interesting day on Xiaohongshu”.

2020年，小红书以 “366 · 美好多一天” 为主题设计了新年礼盒，为你记录这闪光的366个日夜。同样因为闰年产生的多一天，每个人都会在这个世界上多开心一天，多努力一天，也多在小红书上标记我的生活一天。

The core content of this New Year's gift box was based on the "record". The products included: red packets / a camera / a notebook / a calendar box.

In order to combine New Year's elements with modern design, and also unified graphics design and the typeface, we did a lot of deconstruction and redesign of letters and graphics in the early stage of design. we use this box design and the choice of different materials to express the hope for the new year. And also it revealed our uncertainty feelings about the future.

这次新年礼盒的核心产品内容是以“记录”为出发点，包含的产品为：红包/胶片相机/日程本/亚克力日历盒。

为了更好的结合新年元素与现代设计，同时又能使图形与文字设计感高度统一，我们这次首先在设计前期做了很多字母与图形的解构和再设计。通过设计画面以及不同材料的选择搭配来表达出对新的一年抱有美好希冀又感受到未来的不确定性。

02 Elements | 元素设计

Red packets

The font design is more used in red packets in this New Year gift box. In the early stage of designing Chinese fonts, we chose an open-source English font as the glyph setting for the theme "366”. We split this English font, deconstruct, redesign and reorganize them into a Chinese font. Therefore, this Chinese fonts could highly integrated with the graphic elements.

字体设计在此次新年礼盒当中更多的是运用在红包上。在设计中文字体前期，我们选择了一款开源的英文字体作为此次主题「366」的字形设定，并在其基础上对此字体进行拆分，解构和重组出中文字体，使其与图形元素上形成视觉风格统一。

Camera case and camera

The design of the camera box is also composed of the disassembly of the strokes in the font. We selected the letters and numbers that can represent the characteristics of the glyphs, then used our brand color and some bright saturated colors as the auxiliary colors, which were inspired by lion dances, blessings and "2020" patterns, representing the good wishes for the new year.

相机盒与相机

礼盒内部相机盒的图案也由字体中笔画拆解构成。我们挑选出能够代表字形特征的字母及数字，采用红色及明快饱和的辅助色，经过变形、重组为充满视觉张力的舞狮、福字及「2020」图案，代表对新年的美好祝愿。

According to the theme, the film camera is designed with three different patterns. We also hope that when you receive the gift box, you will have more surprises about a random gifts. The exterior of the camera is equipped with a waterproof case, which will be more widely used.

胶片相机根据主题设计了三款不同的图案，也是希望大家收到礼盒的时候面对随机的礼物会多一些惊喜和期待。相机的外部装有防水壳，拥有更包容的可用性。

Notebook

The cover of the book is made of PVC, which has a smooth texture and high durability. The inside pages are made of ivory white papers. It containing plans for 2020, monthly and weekly plan.

日程本

本子的封面使用PVC材料，质感平滑，耐用度很高。内页是包含有2020年、月、周计划，象牙白道林纸线装笔记本。

Acrylic Calendar Box

The top of the box carries the theme of the gift box, showing the year-round calendar on its all sides. Frosted acrylic is used on the shell material. Under the collision of various materials, the inside colour of the box is combined with the date on the box surface, which means that every day is full of jumping emotion.

亚克力日历盒

盒子顶部承载了此次礼盒的主题，用周身的四面展现出了全年日历。外壳材质上采用了磨砂亚克力。在各种不同材质的碰撞下，盒内的色彩与盒面上的日期组合在一起，表示每一个日子都充满了跳跃的情绪感。
