This is re-design of Rilo Kiley’s album “Take offs and Landings”. Rilo Kiley is a folk band and their music is really
eclectic and funky. I feel like the current album cover doesn’t reflect that as much as it could. This re-design has
an old school hot air balloon theme. I used multiple paper textures to give the CD the funky feel that it needed to reflect the music. The CD case itself is thicker and with double binding in order to hide the mechanics that allow the air balloon on the front to move.
