Brief: A publication with the theme of the 'city'. 

 

I called this publication 'Pretty Sh*tty City', as I wanted to approach the dark and gloomy sides of the city. As 'grunge' is all in fashion recently, this publication also touches on urban fashion. The juxtaposing of Pretty and Sh*tty comes from mixing fashion and run down cityscapes.

I used this project to explore with layout, collage and photography and I'd not made an art related publication before. I feel the photography works well with the grainy, unsaturated look.
