THE BRIEF
The brief required designing an original pattern representing our fight against Ocean Pollution. The pattern will then be printed onto fabric and used to produce backpacks that would raise awareness and funds for the cause.
This pattern design focuses on marine animals below the ocean surface, representing those mostly affected by ocean pollution. The pattern design is somewhat loose, free and less structured; the way these animals are meant to be moving and living. A heart has been incorporated into the design of each animal, which emphasises the need and devotion for the cause. This is something that can only be done from a place of love; the joy to give and support with an open heart in order to make a difference in the world.
