The main task of this project was to restore the interiors of an existing laundromat  located in the Lower East Side. My solution focused on tackling the environmental problems occurring in today's laundromats, e.g. by installing a common washing pool in lieu of traditional washing machines.This design minimizes the amount of water and detergent necessary.
