Brand Activation - Hillbrow Sipiliyoni 

Working in a cross-discipline group, I was tasked with the designing of the visual solutions of a campaign for Ndlala Nje- a tour company operating within the Hillbrow tower and looking for a campaign to improve the number of participants of the tour, through changing people’s perspectives of Hillbrow as a place that is too dangerous to tour in. The client had no budget for print advertising and so design solutions were restricted to digital platforms. The solution to the campaign is “Hillbrow Sipiliyoni”- translated from Zulu to English as “The Hillbrow Experience”- consisting of three experiential events; namely a marathon through Hillbrow, a birthday party for the client and a chance for schools to come and paint a part of the Hillbrow urban setting. I executed this concept through three digital posters that all play on perspective as a key element in order to reflect the aim of the campaign.
