CONCEPT
Fine dust affects the sales of many home appliances, but the sales of induction used in kitchen has exceptionally increased.
The reason is due to contamination of indoor air when gas burner is used to cook. Our perception that indoor air must be clean as well as outdoor air through social issues. It is not possible to open the window after cooking as before to ventilate because of the possibility of dirty air inflowing. ‘Keling’ prevents fine dust generated during cooking from spreading all over the house from the kitchen, helping to maintain a comfortable air in the house.
We wanted to create a comfortable indoor space without ventilation that might cause inflow of polluted air.
‘Keling’ is an air purifier combined with kitchen lamp to capture the emotions of Nordic Europe.
Prototyping is made of paper
It absorbs fine dust generated during cooking from the bottom and emits purified air on the top.
You can adjust the position of the product according to desired height using ceiling clip.
Easy filter replacement by removing the cover on both sides to replace filter.
Various interior display effects by utilizing vivid color.
Lighting, fine dust, cooking, filter and wind direction controls available through the application linked with the product.
