O Box da Família foi um projeto idealizado para contemplar informações genealógicas de uma família. É um objeto que possui uma parte da história da família, sua árvore genealógica e informações pessoais sobre seus membros, utilizando para seu desenvolvimento o design gráfico e o design da informação como base.
A motivação para o trabalho se deu em um encontro familiar pessoal, onde pôde-se observar a dificuldade de compreensão das relações de hereditariedade dos membros, principalmente entre os parentes mais jovens. Diante disso e por meio das habilidades desenvolvidas ao longo da graduação em Design, foi possível identificar que esse conhecimento poderia ser transmitido e organizado por meio de um sistema visual de mais simples entendimento, o que resultaria em uma melhor compreensão dos laços consanguíneos entre o grupo, além de auxiliar na preservação da história e resultar em um ativo emocional de relevância para a família.

Box da Família (Family's Box) was a project designed to contemplate genealogical information of a family. It is an object that has part of the family history, its family tree and personal information about its members, using graphic design and information design as a basis for its development.
The motivation for the work took place in a personal family meeting, where it was possible to observe the difficulty in understanding the members' heredity relationships, especially among younger relatives. Given this and through the skills developed throughout the undergraduate course in Design, it was possible to identify that this knowledge could be transmitted and organized through a visual system of simpler understanding, which would result in a better understanding of the consanguineous ties between the group, besides helping to preserve history and result in an emotional asset of relevance to the family.
Foram gerados uma série de protótipos e, após suas análises, chegou-se ao modelo final a ser seguido, uma vez que ele contempla os requisitos levantados no início do projeto.
