Colour Pencils on Watercolour Paper

I created this artwork to practice colouring portraits. I was familiarising myself with skin tones and rendering of hair. I would say i did a pretty bad job on the eyelashes as they looked like they were of a different level of realism in comparison of the skin. The choice of paper was definitely a bad choice, it was too textured, and resulting in a ridget-y look.
