WENDIGO
(ES) En Octubre de 2019, estuve bastante ocupado, por lo que no pude entrarle al reto del Inktober; pero no me quería quedar sin haber hecho algo con la temática de terror y con el recurso de la tinta. Curiosamente, al mismo tiempo que salió la convocatoria para la expo de JOKER de Tributorama, también llevaron a cabo una con temática de monstruos de distintas partes del mundo. Un ser que ya lleva tiempo llamando mi atención, tanto por las historias con las que me he topado, como sus distintas presentaciones, ha sido el Wendigo, monstruo regional de las regiones boscosas de Norte América. Casualmente pude utilizar la pieza para un ejercicio de un curso de comic y le di un look de Splash Page, con créditos ficticios y demás detalles. A continuación les presento éste proyecto.
(EN) In October 2019, I was going through very busy times, so I couldn't get into the Inktober challenge that year. I didn't want to do nothing related to the challenge, the horror genre nor the ink. Curiously enough, at the same time that the call for the JOKER expo by Tributorama was going on, they also made another call for a Monsters around the world themed one. A being that has gotten my attention since a few years ago, because of the stories with I've ran across, as for it's distinct presentations, It's been the Wendigo, an iconic monster from the wooded regions of North America. It just so happens that I even could use the piece for an exercise of a comic book class I was taking. I gave it a Splash Page look, with fictional credits and other details. Next I'm showing you this project.
