There's a botanical wonderland in suburban Adelaide, it's not the most obvious location for a walk with your camera, but I highly recommend a visit. The Waite Arboretum, established in 1928 by the University of Adelaide and covering over 30 hectares, it's an experimental parkland aimed at demonstrating the suitability of a wide range of trees to the local environment. A fascinating place for a wander about.
