A few words for those who don't know what pysanky are. Pysanka 🥚🎨(comes from the Ukrainian verb pysaty - "to write") is a traditional Ukrainian Easter egg, usually decorated with folk motiv using a wax-resist method. All the regions in Ukraine have their own unique patterns, shapes and colors. Traditionally every symbol/color/line means something: red - love, black - long life, tree - good health, birds - good news, etc. My illustration was inspired by Western part of Ukraine. Of course I put some modern shapes, vivid colors and composed them in a seamless pattern.
