Espressolutions brand redesign







The project

Espressolutions is an Austrian company working in the coffee industry with some of the biggest names in the business. It’s the official distributor in Austria for some of the most recognizable professional coffee brands: La Marzocco, Etzinger, Bunn and Perfect Moose. As an active and vibrant company on the Austrian coffee scene for the past few years, it was in need of a brand redesign. 

We started from the existing logo and took it from there, with a logo redesign - keeping the iconic Strada espresso machine which was already part of their logo - a new typeface, colors and a brand identity manual to help keep a consistent brand application.

The challenge was to not stray too far away from the visual identity of their main partner La Marzocco (showing that they are still part of the same family) but to still end up with an independent, easily recognizable and vibrant visual identity.

In January 2020, Espressolutions was one of the sponsors of the biggest coffee festival in Austria, Vienna Coffee Festival. Espressolution's campaign at the event was titled Straight into Vienna and one of the main brands it represented there was La Marzocco.

The company participated with two large stands and organized special events within the festival, so it was the perfect opportunity to showcase its newly redesigned brand in front of coffee lovers and professionals from all over Europe. We created digital content to announce and promote the event and many printed materials for the on-site participation: posters, banners, coasters, flyers, vouchers, t-shirts and others.
