The textile object is inspired by the nautilus shell. The chambers of the shell are a metaphor for the stages we pass through life to become who we are.

As long as we live, we grow and change. Life is change and evolution. Life is never finished. When life ends it isn't life anymore. I illustrate that in this textile miniature that represents a growing snail shell.
