I remember riding my bike home as it started to get dark as a child in southwest Iowa.  I remember the quality of light in the cloudy sky as the setting sun created a fiery display in the air.  I remember seeing the moon at the same time and thinking it was almost ironic that the moon would rise so hard upon the disappearance of the day.  I wanted to recapture that feeling.
