We were given the task to redesign a kitchen or household appliance complying with the circular design guidelines and organize it as a product-service system as well as finding a matching business model. So I decided to develop a product-service system for a coffee machine embedded in the circular economy. The circular principles were also applied to the collection and further processing of coffee grounds identifying versatile applications and coping with waste management and logistics challenges.
