1. Charaktery Magazine — ''Body and Pain''

Note: Cover of the issue's section dedicated to physical and mental pain - it's origin, functions etc.
Main goal and biggest challenge in this case was to juxtapose both physical and psychical pain at one painting. After initial research and sketches I come up with idea of drop shape that symbolise fire that causes physical pain and tear drop witch is effect of psychical one.
2. Charaktery Magazine — Issue about Hope
2.1 'Where to draw the hope from when everything is falling apart...'
Note: it's hard to hope for better times when everything is falling apart but at the same time hope might be the only thing that keep people belive in future and prevent from strugle of living.
Massive, grand anchor as a talisman of hope and proctectness that is vital but also hard to maintain almost instantly came up to my mind.

2.2 ''Consent to life the way it is''
Note: article about hope's relations with passive and active attitudes towards life. Despite lack of space and transition between spread I decided to challegne myself and create figurative motive with slight hint of plot. I wanted to find balance between purely graphic elements and little amount of shading.
2.3 ''Compassion will save us''
Note: topic of the article is how today's prosperity and successes without sense of compassion can affect next generations' life in negative way.
Note: as both following illustrations are in the same place on consecutive spreads, I decided to connect them in a sense. I wanted to create an illustration that is going to reveal it's full meaning only after flipping the page.
2.4 ''What brings us relief and consolation''
Note: series of decorative elements for an article about ways of finding sense and hope in everyday life.
Again, placement of available spaces let me introduce a bit of plot and encouraged me to try to build an interest in readers about what's going to happen on next page.
3. Charaktery Magazine — ''Implanted memories''
Note: article about fake memories that can appear in memory and how this fact can affect human's life. My idea here was to create minimalistic composition with representation of memory with unfitting element. I decided to play a bit more with different textures and brushstrokes in this project.
