This project is a mix of my imagination and experiments. I wanted to create my own furniture, my own lamps. For this, I limited myself in the ability to seek inspiration among factories and finished interiors. I completely trusted in the inner world and my imagination. The basis of this project is the simplicity of forms combined with natural materials. The bathroom has a special place, for a long time I could not decide on the shape of the sink until I found it in the lime wedge))) Sometimes the tips are nearby, you just need to pay attention.
The next stage is the search for the shape of the mirror, which would look whole with the geometry of the sink. I tried rectangular shapes, but they did not give the result I needed until I found a solution to mirror the shape of the sink vertically. I liked this idea and I began to experiment with this form and
achieved the result I needed. I also had to think over the technical part, so that this could be realized, I settled on the shell of a metal sink, a marble countertop, all this complements the wood of which the drawers are made, vertical, metal handles repeating the shape of the sink, it is easy to extend the side drawers , the central drawer is pulled out by a light push system Push to Open.
As a basis in the creation of fixtures, I took an aluminum pipe. Aluminum is plastic, it takes the desired shape while being light, and the tubular shape allows you to hide it inside the wire, which is very cool considering my tasks. The design should have been combined with the sink. In order not to disturb the harmony of forms, I used the vertical orientation of the tile on the wall, which visually repeats the edges on the facades of the drawers, and the coal color of the tile harmoniously combines with the black metal shell of the sink and the lamp hanging above it. I think it turned out spectacularly.
Bidet area and bath. I basically did not want to put the bath on the floor, I wanted more space, freedom. I always strive for this in my work, so that everything looks whole and harmonious. I raised the floor level in the bathroom area, so I divided the area of the sink and bathtub, this allowed me to make a bath in the floor and get the effect of a pool. The tap is mounted in the ceiling, and this was done in order to free up the floor space as much as possible leaving only the tile. I refused the standard bidet and shower, I built them into the installation, into a seat made integrally with the wall, and this seemed to me a good solution in favor of space and comfort.
In design, I always try to use a limited number of palettes. Colors should not be too bright and flashy. In the bathroom, I diluted the dark colors of the floor and furniture with light stucco on the walls and ceiling. I hung a vertical tubular radiator on a wall with a window - it perfectly complemented the interior with its shape.
