Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the chick, hat and scarf are knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

A pair of 3.5mm straight single pointed knitting needles (US 4) 

Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; one 100g/280m skein in each colour

Domed black buttons or toy safety eyes, toy filling, and tapestry needle

One size only - 20cm tall.

For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, knitting stripes, and seaming to finish.
