Translating digital back into print
The cover story was really rather heart breaking, there didn't seem to be suitable imagry to express. I modified an imgae of an AK-47 to give it an illustrated look and mirrored on a black background
Based on the Newsweek style.
Following two layouts are exercises in layout without images, fun little experiment.
