    I am a fine artist skilled in multiple disciplines, and work comfortably as a high-end digital artist/photo-retoucher. The heart of my work is focused on my passion for human rights as well as environmental consciousness, which I believe are inextricably linked. “Drowned Flowers” are photographic composites that enact this link by combining images of flowers and water to express ecological and humanitarian concerns. The images are original photographs of flora that I have taken as far away as Mexico and nearby in local flower markets. After extensive research, I found the national flower of each country, which appears as the title of the individual works. The art focuses on the fragility of life in both humans and in nature. The images are purposively beautiful, poetic, lyrical, but are intended to bring awareness to our world around us. Read Less
