Livro Misery

Esse projeto teve como intuito fazer uma releitura do design da capa do livro Misery do autor Stephen King. Eu busquei inserir nela elementos retirados da própria obra, tais como a casa em que o protagonista é mantido em cativeiro e o machado com sangue que faz uma alusão à loucura de sua carcereira, ambientados em um inverno rigoroso mencionado no livro. Já para elaborar a tipografia do nome do livro, eu construí letras dinâmicas e não uniformes em um tom de vermelho vibrante para destacar o perigo e a incerteza expostos ao longo da história do livro Misery.

This project aimed to reinterpret the cover design of the book Misery by author Stephen King. I sought to insert elements taken from the work itself, such as the house in which the protagonist is held captive and the bloody ax that alludes to the madness of his jailor, set in a harsh winter mentioned in the book. To create the typography for the book's name, I created dynamic and non-uniform letters in a vibrant shade of red to highlight the danger and uncertainty exposed throughout the story of the book Misery.
