The Canary Islands: Explore the wondrous archipelagos.

The Canary Islands: Explore the wondrous archipelagos.
“It is rather difficult to offer an accurate description of the Canarian landscape. It is necessary to visit this privileged land in order to admire sights unique in the world. When touring any of these islands we are offered a new landscape with every turn of the road; from Egyptian decor to the lush postcard from West Indies; from the rugged northern landscape to the soft plains where sugar cane and palm trees grow.”

Surrounded by cuddling sandy beach kissing waves of the ocean; these small and tiny islands hold a retreat of a piny taste of tourism. The landscape is of eight islands separately formed to serve as a glamour full of holiday activities. The Canary Islands are paradise islands for an explorer to traverse to feel a bit of everything.

The continent is of eight islands — Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura, Lanzarote, El Hierro, La Palma, La Gomera, La Graciosa.
WHEN TO VISIT
ACTIVITIES TO DO
The Canary Islands are not a place to perform extreme activities, though the tourism authorities approved certain activities for tourist’s safety. Almost every island offers to go potholing, canyoning, and climbing. Specifically, Gran Canaria and Parapente offer parachute jump over the Maspalomas dunes.

Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, and Fuerteventura beaches are the triple gems of Canary Islands. Most probably the beach resorts and beaches might be overcrowded, and it will be a bit of struggle to find a quiet and easy-going beach resort. Also, the western islands hold the best little coves.

Boat Trips
There are boat trips for any occasion depending on expectations as in luxury cruises, whale watching trips, and private yachts available with permission. The best Whale and Dolphin watching locations are in Tenerife and La Gomera. It is also cheap to take short trips to Isla de Lobos and from Lanzarote to La Graciosa.
Diving
Underwater life is a different experience in the Canary Islands, though diving is an activity every tourist must participate. The visibility of 25-30m and average water temperatures of 18-24 Celsius allows the divers to see groupers, barracudas, octopus, angel sharks, parrotfish, sweepers, occasional encounters with manta rays, pilot whales, sunfish, and dolphins. El Hierro, Chinijo, and south of La Palma have fascinating beaches where tourists can book a diving package or diving activity course.
Fishing
The resorts in El Hierro or La Gomera offer legal fishing around the area where tourists will be guided by a local.
