About Marand
Marand is a display font designed based on geometric modules. It is an academic experiment from 2016 that sought to firstly design an uppercase alphabet using exclusively squares, triangles and/or circles. In this way, the main module was obtained, which is characterized by its 45-degree terminations.
Finally, after several revisions, the remaining glyphs were designed to make the font much more versatile, and also including the lowercase alphabet, numbers, symbols and some alternative characters for certain letters.
