The Ecological Literacy Tube map was created as an A1 poster to communicate the themes and disciplinary traditions that were covered by my PhD research on the visual communication of ecological literacy. The work introduces the concept of ecological literacy and associated themes. It displays relationships between different disciplinary discourses and illustrates key thinkers who have nurtured ecological thought or developed visual communication. The station stops are significant authors and the lines are disciplines: science, design, sustainable development, etc.
